When spending quietly
follows the raise
Workshops for adults who want to notice — without pressure — how household spending shifts after income changes or new life stages.

Why Quietleaf
What makes a difference here
Printed materials you keep
Every programme includes physical journals, cards, or templates — so the reflection continues after the session ends.
Small, focused groups
Sessions are kept intentionally small so each participant has space to reflect, ask, and be heard — not lost in a crowd.
No pressure, no sales
We're educators, not advisers. No product is sold in the room. Where personal recommendations are needed, we point participants toward licensed practitioners.
Awareness before action
Before anyone can change a pattern, they need to see it clearly. Our workshops create that space for noticing first.
Household-friendly framing
Conversation prompts are designed for real households — including couples — so insights don't stay in the workshop room.
Based in Kuala Lumpur
All programmes run from our workshop space in KL, with content grounded in Malaysian household and income contexts.
Ready when you are
Noticing is where it starts.
Three programmes, different depths, one underlying idea: when you can see a pattern clearly, you're already better placed to decide what — if anything — to do about it.
Common Questions
Before you sign up
What exactly is lifestyle inflation, and why does it matter?
Lifestyle inflation refers to the tendency for spending to rise in line with — or faster than — income. It often happens quietly: a slightly nicer apartment after a promotion, a second car when both partners are earning, a new school for the children. None of these are wrong choices. Our workshops simply create space to notice when and how these shifts occur, so they become visible rather than automatic.
Are these workshops financial advice or coaching?
No. Quietleaf is an educational programme provider. No individual recommendations are made during sessions. Where participants want specific guidance on their own finances, we point them toward licensed advisers. Our role is to help you see patterns — what you do with that awareness is entirely your own decision.
Who attends these workshops?
Most participants are working adults in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who have recently experienced an income change, a new household stage (marriage, children, an empty nest), or simply a growing sense that their spending feels disconnected from their intentions. The Quiet Habits Cohort is specifically designed for adults aged 40 and above.
How are the sessions delivered?
All sessions are in-person at our Kuala Lumpur space. We keep groups small — the Noticing Workshop runs on weekends, the Small Adjustments Programme meets on weekday evenings, and the Quiet Habits Cohort runs weekly over 10 weeks. Printed materials are provided at each session; nothing is required on a screen to participate.
What is the pricing, and is there any instalment option?
The Noticing Workshop is RM 490, the Small Adjustments Programme is RM 1,180, and the Quiet Habits Cohort is RM 2,580. All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit and include printed materials. Please reach out to us directly to discuss payment timing options for the longer programmes.
Is the content relevant to couples, or is it for individuals?
Both. Participants attend individually, but the conversation prompts and adjustment cards in the Small Adjustments Programme and Quiet Habits Cohort are designed for household conversations — including with a partner. Many couples find it useful to attend the same cohort together, though this is entirely optional.
