1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for a Quietleaf programme or submitting an enquiry through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not proceed with registration.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. The Quiet Habits Cohort is designed for participants aged 40 and above; Quietleaf reserves the right to decline enrolments that do not meet this age criterion for that programme.

3. Description of Services

Quietleaf provides in-person, educational workshop programmes in Kuala Lumpur focused on helping adults notice lifestyle inflation patterns. Our programmes are educational in nature — they do not constitute financial advice, financial planning, investment advice, or any other regulated financial service.

No individual financial recommendations are made during or in connection with our programmes. Where participants wish to receive personal financial guidance, we may refer them to licensed financial advisers; however, we are not affiliated with and do not receive remuneration from such advisers.

Programmes are delivered in English at our workshop space in Kuala Lumpur. Quietleaf does not currently offer online or remote programme delivery.

4. Enrolment and Registration

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment (or agreed partial payment) and a written confirmation from Quietleaf. Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Quietleaf reserves the right to decline any enrolment at its discretion, including where programme capacity has been reached or where a programme is not considered an appropriate fit for the prospective participant's circumstances.

5. Participant Responsibilities

6. Intellectual Property

All workshop content, printed materials, facilitator guides, session frameworks, and related materials are the intellectual property of Quietleaf. Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use physical materials provided during a programme for their own private reflection purposes only.

Participants may not reproduce, distribute, publish, adapt, sell, or make available to others any Quietleaf materials or content without prior written consent from Quietleaf.

7. Payment Terms

All programme fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Fees are as follows:

Payment is due in full prior to the commencement of the programme unless alternative payment timing has been agreed in writing with Quietleaf. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of enrolment.

Cancellation and refund policy:

8. Programme-Specific Terms

Noticing Workshop: A single-day educational session. Printed journal is provided and belongs to the participant.

Small Adjustments Programme: Consists of four evening sessions. The follow-up review call is included and scheduled approximately two months after the final session. Participants who miss two or more sessions may not be eligible for the follow-up call.

The Quiet Habits Cohort: A 10-week programme with weekly sessions. Access to the peer discussion forum is active for the duration of the cohort plus four weeks after the final session. Materials provided are for participants' personal use.

Quietleaf does not issue certificates of completion. Our programmes are educational and do not carry professional accreditation or formal qualification standing.

9. Disclaimers

Quietleaf's programmes are provided for educational purposes only. Nothing in our programmes constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any other form of regulated advice or recommendation.

We make no representation that attending our programmes will lead to any specific outcome, financial or otherwise. Any changes participants make to their household spending or financial arrangements following a programme are made on their own judgement and responsibility.

Programmes are provided on an "as available" basis. Quietleaf may need to reschedule or cancel sessions due to circumstances outside its control; in such cases, we will notify participants as promptly as possible and offer alternative arrangements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Malaysian law, Quietleaf's total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms or our programmes shall not exceed the total fees paid by the participant for the relevant programme.

Quietleaf is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of income, loss of opportunity, or any financial loss arising from decisions made by participants following attendance at our programmes.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Quietleaf harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms and Conditions, your participation in a programme, or your use of our website.

12. Termination

Quietleaf reserves the right to remove any participant from a programme, without refund, if their behaviour materially disrupts the experience of other participants or is inconsistent with the respectful, confidential nature of our sessions.

Participants may withdraw from a programme subject to the cancellation and refund terms in Section 7.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms or our programmes shall first be subject to good-faith informal resolution between the parties. If informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Malaysia with jurisdiction in Kuala Lumpur.

14. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions, together with any programme enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between Quietleaf and the participant with respect to the relevant programme.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Failure by Quietleaf to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Quietleaf may not assign its obligations under these terms without prior notice to participants. Participants may not assign their enrolment or their rights under these terms to a third party without written consent from Quietleaf.

15. Changes to These Terms

Quietleaf may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify participants enrolled in active programmes of any material changes by email. The updated terms will apply to new enrolments from the date of publication. Continued participation in an active programme after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
